Join in a celebration of community as Fernwood marks its 60th anniversary as one of the region's leading public gardens and cultural centers.

Heralding the start of the summer season in southwest Michigan and a keystone of Fernwood’s 60th anniversary celebration as a public garden, this popular and much-lauded party will welcome more than three hundred guests and garden luminaries to sample the region’s bounty from area farms, fields, and vineyards.

Guests will enjoy great food and drink from some of the area’s best chefs and restaurants, including:

• Bentwood Tavern
• Gather
• Granor Farm
• Ray & Al’s
• Whistle Stop
• and several surprises to be announced

Unique items, objects, experiences, and opportunities will be offered in live and silent auctions, including:

• Travel packages with private botanical and cultural experiences
• A private dinner prepared by renowned Chefs Jean Joho and Cheyenne Galbraith
• Performances and behind-the-scenes tours at the Joffrey Ballet, Shedd Aquarium, and The Field Museum, to name a few
• Rare botanical offerings, including specially designed garden containers
• and so much more

All to BENEFIT education programs, internships at Fernwood, and the cultivation and sustainability of Fernwood’s gardens and natural areas.
